We know how important it is preserve your children as they grow. It is our passion to not only create amazing images of your children but also to help guide you through every step in the process. As the years fly by you will always look back at your one of a kind artwork and cherish this time in your life.
Here is some information on milestone sessions to help you as you start to think about your Northfield milestone photography session.
When is it best to book?
The ideal time to book your milestone session is during the season prior to when you would like to hold your session, or sooner. For example f you would like a summer session we recommend contacting us in the spring. For fall sessions it is never to early to reserve your session date as fall books quickly. This helps ensure that if you have a date that you are really hoping to reserve there is more availability. This also provides more time to look at alternate options if the weather doesn’t cooperate or someone in the family falls ill.
If you hoping for a last minute session we still encourage you to reach out to check availability for your milestone session.
What’s next?
Once you reach out we will be in contact to have a chat and get to know you. From there then will meet at the Northfield portrait studio to view and enjoy all the amenities the studio has to offer including: comfortable seating, beverages, snacks, toys for children to play with and beautiful archival quality artwork only we provide. At this time we will discuss your ideas for your session, look at props, backdrops and plan your session.
After our meeting at the Northfield portrait studio you will have your session fully planned and reserved for your child! We are always here to help you finalize apparel or answer any questions that you may arise as you near your milestone session date.
The session.
On the date of your milestone session we ask that you to arrive ready for your session on time, with everyone rested and well fed. Children will not cooperate or feel comfortable at their session if their needs are not fully met. We want your little ones memories of picture day to be happy and fun!
Your children might take time to feel comfortable with their session and that’s okay! The biggest thing is that they are happy and not feeling stressed. We can work with nervous, shy, quiet or crazy and rambunctious! We provide all families with a prep guide that will help them prepare for this big day and highly recommend moms and dads read it and trust our process. Amber is a talented family photographer and also a mother of 4 so she’s up for the challenge!
The best part!
Shortly after your milestone session we will meet at the Northfield portrait studio to view your child’s beautiful images for the first time! At this time you decide what products serve your family best. You are welcome to select any combination of prints, wall art and table top products will give you and your family the most enjoyment.
We will take care of every little detail from start to finish and leave you with stunning artwork you will enjoy every day. We love hearing from families that every time they walk into a room they get a big smile seeing their beautiful babies images. That is after all, why you want these moments preserved, to enjoy them over and over again!
