Meet Hayden. He was super sassy during his Northfield newborn photography session and decided awake was the way to go.
As a Northfield Newborn Photographer I like to give jazzed up babies some time to relax. Sometimes they need a bit more time to kick around, look at what is going around and listen to the different sounds of the studio.
During this awake time I like to talk to babies and work on taking a few images of them awake. As much as Northfield newborn photographers typical job is to capture sleepy images it is nice to see a few awake images too. If they are happy, of course!
The Northfield newborn photography studio is filled with the sound of white noise (to mimic inside mamma) and sometimes it can take a minute for little ones to adjust to the new sounds as they have finally started to get used to the quiet of the world. I know that sounds crazy but it was noisy inside his mamma.
Hayden was definitely the exception and spent a good amount of time hanging out happy and kicking around.
Part of my job as a Northfield newborn photographer is to roll with each babies personality and create beautiful images regardless of how baby is feeling that day. So Hayden's family got more awake images and they were still perfectly sweet and showed his sassy personality.
